(I have the dratted coeliac disease too, so I really sympathise with your daughter re fish and chips. Many chippies now offer GF fish and chips one or two days a week. I was in heaven when I had my first fish and chips in 5 years.)

SarahAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2534534978347181935.post-56334517574943240772012-05-29T11:21:03.786-07:002012-05-29T11:21:03.786-07:00LOL - just made my first Zara purchase in a LONG t...LOL - just made my first Zara purchase in a LONG time and got the floral jacket and another plain fuschia jersey jacket. I hide it well and will totally admit I have slim arms and legs but my middle section very much does resemble a deflated waterbed. Never on show. I think most of the things I wear can easily be adapted if you're slightly bigger!

Hopefully this blog is about a specific style for those approaching a certain age (or those who are past it and heading towards another!) rather than just those for slimmer people.

Anything else I can do to help, just holler!
xxxxKathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05874946171943263803noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2534534978347181935.post-58631394577964876372012-05-29T02:18:31.007-07:002012-05-29T02:18:31.007-07:00oh yay! Someone else with a coeliac daughter. (ok...oh yay! Someone else with a coeliac daughter. (ok that's not exactly what I meant, but you know what I mean hopefully!) How old is yours and how long has she been diagnosed. Mine is 7 and she was diagnosed 18 months ago - she's doubled her body weight in that time. Amazing. We have the odd melt down (and therefore none of us will be having fish and chips whilst we're away as she gets so so upset, understandably) but generally she has been so accepting of it. Probably as she feels so much better.

And thank you for your lovely comments xxxxxKathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05874946171943263803noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2534534978347181935.post-9087303844754592682012-05-29T02:16:35.251-07:002012-05-29T02:16:35.251-07:00Me too! You're right, my 7 yr old is now addicted and has asked if she can do it all the time. A couple of years old now were in the sale and have been worth their weight in gold.

Suffolk? Sigh. We just adore it. But I do think it probably depends on where you stay. We always stay in the same place, visit the same places (actually when The Husband and I are on our own we do stay somewhere else but always the same hotel!) and just adore it. The people are lovely, it's never too crowded, it's not too expensive, the accommodation is great and it's easy to park (hence we avoid Southwold like the plague - just too too busy and spread out). Great wine shops, delis and gift shops. I will admit, i swerve on the clothes front. Bar Jack Wills where I could find something if I had to. Otherwise, I would honestly be pushed to buy something - I am probably in need of a jumper but I would honestly rather be cold! But I can live without clothes shopping for a week (just about ha ha ha)

Hope that helps - email me if you need anything else! xxxxxKathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05874946171943263803noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2534534978347181935.post-39739031636646870002012-05-29T02:10:47.696-07:002012-05-29T02:10:47.696-07:00Fingers crossed you have aircon - although then yo...Fingers crossed you have aircon - although then you're cold inside and boiling out. Doh!

I'd say lots of jersey or crepe - neither of which crease as much as cotton, or (god forbid) linen. For various reasons we are obliged to spend quite a lot of time in Suffolk and I really really want to fall in love with it, but literally I feel every cell in my body cheering as we leave.
What do you love about it? I must be missing something and need to look with fresh eyes! Genuinely I would love to know what it is that brings you (willingly!) back so that next time I can hunt it out and adopt it as a stomping ground.
