And I am SO obsessed with sequins and leopard print - you're definitely not alone! Have ordered the Zara trench online xKathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05874946171943263803noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2534534978347181935.post-23688837605297905512016-10-08T07:28:07.463-07:002016-10-08T07:28:07.463-07:00A more fluid one may be the option then as I would...A more fluid one may be the option then as I wouldn't normally be wearing this done up... which makes it much more forgiving in the boob department, I would say?Kathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05874946171943263803noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2534534978347181935.post-62810155828508598142016-10-08T07:27:10.667-07:002016-10-08T07:27:10.667-07:00I absolutely love them on other people but they ju...I absolutely love them on other people but they just don't work on me. they're always too short in the arm and to get the shoulders to fit, I always end up with way too much fabric on the body. I would buy one in a heartbeat if they looked great on me! Having said that - definitely looking for a flowy number so this wouldn't really fit the bill anyway! (which is handy...!)Kathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05874946171943263803noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2534534978347181935.post-19524394558742339392016-10-08T07:25:34.408-07:002016-10-08T07:25:34.408-07:00Ok even I have to say two navy trench coats might ...Ok even I have to say two navy trench coats might be over kill if they're similar. Typical H&M problem - it would seem that nobody is 5'4" in their world. I've discovered that while non floaty trench coats can look a bit stiff when new after a couple of wears they do improve. Now loving my 2nd hand navy trench from Gap. Yesterday to my great delight I found a cream debenhams trench in a charity shop for £15. Ooh and a pair of black patent loafer brogues for 8.50 (Office!). Am supposed to be shopping my wardrobe this month (my version of Stoptober). Dismally failing but I don't care :) Nicemumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15704053236805204487noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2534534978347181935.post-82581584165588209772016-10-07T23:52:02.410-07:002016-10-07T23:52:02.410-07:00There's a nice cream trench in H&M but it ...There's a nice cream trench in H&M but it was impossibly long on me. I must admit I stayed away from trying one on as I may just have to own one, maybe when my navy trench is past its best I'll replace with burberry. Even though I've got boobs, I can get away with double breasted coats as long as they're nipped in at the waist, and being short I'd go for a 3/4 length, and certainly not below the knees.<br />Danish Pastry Danish Pastryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05123972992199553087noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2534534978347181935.post-45682945194295252702016-10-07T13:04:58.729-07:002016-10-07T13:04:58.729-07:00Hi Kat, I actually saw you in Zara today and admit...Hi Kat, I actually saw you in Zara today and admit to being a little bit 'awestruck' lol! I agree the quality of coats were poor. All I ended up buying was a grey sequin tee (from Zara) and a leopard print blouse from H&M. My forty something friends all agee that we've become slightly obsessed with leopard print and sequins! As it happens I have an amazing trench from Reiss, which I've worn year in year out and it still looks brand new.Jill Wilfordnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2534534978347181935.post-6079592009262579312016-10-07T12:39:51.384-07:002016-10-07T12:39:51.384-07:00I havethis problem every year. So onwards with the annual search... So can I justify another? I do like the modal one from mango, but I tend towards the navy, and there in lies the problem, two navy trench coats may be a tad overdoing it, and as lovely as the green one is I just don't think it'd get the wear. But it is oh, so tempting!!<br />I am trying to abstain at the moment, as I'm off to Aarhus with my best mate at the beginning of next month, and that's always hard on the bank account - this time I'm going to see if I can go with a plan of action! <br />Danish Pastry Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
