I'm sure you can get a sample sachet at the counter to try first as it's ridiculously expensive - I can't make out why it costs so much from the ingredients but it is fab.wonderlustinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17067406269726014292noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2534534978347181935.post-74276355536939516322017-02-08T10:29:37.739-08:002017-02-08T10:29:37.739-08:00Just started using CT produscts as put a few on my...Just started using CT produscts as put a few on my Christmas list. Love the Rock n Khol eyeliner but I do have to sharpen it every time I use it - and I don't use much. But it does have amazing staying power; once it's on it's even hard to smudge out a wing. Disappointed with the lip liner - I bought foxy brown and use, as advised, to completely fill my lips but no staying power and not mad on the texture. Similalry, and in case you're tempted, Birkin Brown lipstick IS NOT BROWN, more of a dark red so the quest for brown continues. Recommendations welcome! PS. Slightly intrigued by the sharpener as s when I come to empty it there doesn't see to be anything there, I've even fiddled around with a Q-tip to no avail. I think there must be a huge stockpile of everyone's lost balms. I've got night crimson which is this purple gothic kind of colour but I'd like to try out more shades. I'm into bright red/burgundy/terracotta/pinky mauve/deep fuchsia/brown shades so I get all experimental with lipstick colours. There have been the odd update, and I'd say I bought my first burgundy mascara in my late 20's, and then spent the next ten years looking for a replacement!
The chubby sticks mascara is quite thick, I always, always use an eyelash comb afterwards to avoid clumps. Loreal do a mascara for green eyes that is a browny/plum and is not so thick, I use it if I want a really natural look.
Danish Pastryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05123972992199553087noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2534534978347181935.post-81474739575696974262017-02-07T23:55:22.831-08:002017-02-07T23:55:22.831-08:00Was going to try Nars blusher but may now try the ...Was going to try Nars blusher but may now try the one you suggest. Try 'Pillowtalk' lip liner - it's a natural lip colour but you can use it all over your lips too. There is also a new Pillowtalk lipstick. My other fav is 'Super Cindy' matte lipstick. The blushers are great & stay on all day too! I also like the Filmstar highlight & contour palette. And I wonder where my money goes...!!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03825158968548646119noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2534534978347181935.post-6071333236712809212017-02-07T15:19:04.843-08:002017-02-07T15:19:04.843-08:00Thanks for the tip on the CT sharpener - my chamel...Thanks for the tip on the CT sharpener - my chameleon stick has run down and i've tried stuffing it into many-a sharpener with no luck, so it's great to know they have their own special one! (And I'm off to Cambridge tomorrow - John Lewis and your new CT concession, I'm coming for you). I love the look of the mink eyeliner and will surely give that a go too. I cannot recommend the CT beach sticks highly enough - instant 'healthy complexion' with a swipe. I use the 'Formantera' which looks quite brown, but gives a gorgeous rosy glow which is subtle enough to look natural, but makes a massive difference when I wake up looking like a corpse (i.e., most mornings lately). I've also just ordered a couple of the new Burts Bees lipsticks which come in some absolutely gorgeous shades and are very moisturising apparently. I do love lippie, but rarely wear it, just preferring a dousing of Nuxe lip balm which is super-moisturising. I have tons of make up but more often than not wear nowt but BB creme, eyebrow crayon, beach stick and lip balm. I think (know) it's just because I'm lazy.Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17111082794677743047noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2534534978347181935.post-80238736987538202812017-02-07T13:42:13.512-08:002017-02-07T13:42:13.512-08:00You are so on my wavelength, I don't wear that...You are so on my wavelength, I don't wear that much make-up, but I do wear Elizabeth Arden tinted lip balm (need to replace one of them soon), Clinique chubby sticks have similar too.
I haven't tried CT, but I do wear eye make-up that enhances the green in my grey green eyes, namely burgundy mascara (it's subtle and not anywhere near as obvious as blue mascara), chubby sticks again. I tend to buy a few tubes of mascara, as the purple/ burgundy shades are trend colours, and they only seem to come around every five years or so!
I tend to go for brown eyeliner, not that I'm very good at applying it, and eyeshadow is plummy or purple shades. For daytime I use a camel/toffee colour eyeshadow, natural but also green eyes enhancing! Danish Pastryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05123972992199553087noreply@blogger.com
