Brighter blue in the sale at River Island.
Slightly out there but actually lime is not as out there as you'd think (admittedly they could probably see you from space..). It's a very easy colour to tone down and match with colours that you already own. My favourite neutral to pair it with is tan. It looks INCREDIBLE with tans and camels. Throw in denim as well as you've got your Spring look nailed. Also works with cream. Also looks amazing with navy. Throw in some leopard for variety - I promise it works. Definitely a more versatile colour than you would perhaps think.

Interestingly - it so depends on how it's photographed as seeing it like this - I wouldn't have thought of ordering it to try. But who wears a coat done up like this.. especially an oversized coat. It looks like she could be wearing her entire wardrobe up under that.

A New Coat. So clearly we've all taken a good look at our wardrobes during lockdown and really taken stock of what works during lockdown and what we've been wearing less of.
Certainly, I have been wearing a LOT fewer dresses and skirts during the Winter months - fear not, they will have their day as soon as the weather improves - but for not, it's very much about the comfort and the trousers.
However, whilst we want to feel comfortable and casual we don't want to look like an extra from Shameless. And the easiest that I've found to solve this issue is to throw over a superb coat. I am sure that you have loads of coats that you could wear to sartorially raise your game but if you did have a coat hole - now is the perfect time to treat yourself to a new one.
When I talk about a coat hole - I basically mean a gap in your wardrobe that you could fill with a brand new coat. You probably have a whole set of basics that you're alternating during lockdown but a new coat can breathe complete new life into an old set of garments.
I would personally look at a new classic - be it a grey, a black or a camel one OR think colour. Think something bright and cheery and a colour that makes you smile every time you put it on. And if it makes you smile, it will other people smile too.
It may seem like a rather random purchase as we're obviously not allowed to really go anywhere right now but there is that daily walk to look forward to AND the sunshine will be here to stay very shortly, Spring is definitely on the way, so a cheerful coat is the ideal addition to your daily outfits (and don't forget the supermarket...! WHOOP! The 2021 version of Out Out)
Plus a new coat is going to see you though to the Summer and will also be waiting for you come the Autumn and Winter.
So the colourful coats first.

LOVE this - as with all of these coats, they would look amazing now over a knit and joggers but would also look just as good with a tee, jeans and trainers.

Starting with a mint green, new in at Mango. I actually have a coat this colour which is three years old from Jigsaw and it's probably my most commented on coat. The colour is so much more versatile that you would think. It looks stunning with navy, pale grey and charcoal, as well as camels and creams. And denim. Stunning with denim.

A superb textured pink coat at ASOS. I actually didn't need a pink coat. I didn't want a pink coat. And then I saw this. Which comes in different heights. OMG DANG IT.
