The one thing I forgot on holiday...

... a bra!

I mean - HOW?  How do you even do that?  You wear a dress to the airport that doesn't require a bra and you forget to pack one.

You also rely on having boobs like fried eggs.  I do appreciate though, from many of my friends and from all the comments on Insta, that so so many of you could not go braless in a million years.

So.  This is a blog dedicated to holiday dresses that you can wear with bras.  As pretty much every dress I have bought with me can be worn without a bra, nay, needs to be worn without a bra or a god awful strapless number, (they're no better if you've got no boobs by the way - they're just rubbish!) it got me to thinking that it must be pretty difficult to find a dress you can combine with a bra.  That isn't full on sleeves.  Or any sleeves for that matter.

Think FULL ON SUMMER NUMBERS.  That will, however, also work at home.  I don't want you to relegate these to the "holiday drawer", throw on with a denim jacket or blazer and let's just pray for wall to wall sunshine till September.

And I am starting with a couple that are new in from hush.  I write as a freelancer for The Pool and they asked me last week, if I'd like to do a presentation at The Hamyard Hotel of the new hush Summer range (and some of their Spring favourites) with Frankie Graddon, their Fashion and Beauty Editor.  It's the second year we've done this together and it's a rather lovely evening.  Cocktails and clothes.. what's not to love?!

I've personally worked with hush for 7yrs now and know their clothes really well.  SO - whilst some of these may look a tad tent like, please please believe me when I say they hang perfectly - AND YES - on people who are bigger of bust too.

And here I am with dresses from the first couple of days of holiday.  Not all are sleeveless.  But all are braless!

We are currently away with Scot Williams Villas, to review one of their villas.  The villa has been gifted to us, but we paid for our flights, cars, food and excess baggage...!

  1. Have a guess which one I love the most? The most expensive one of course! Red is always a winner :)

  2. I always find bikini tops double up nicely as a bra on holidays. Especially for those dresses that are strappy. For some reason more bikini straps on show are perfectly acceptable where a bra strap wouldn’t be.

  3. The Hush dresses may hang beautifully but they still look like tents on me. I have to buy their maxi skirts instead to give me some sort of waist. Thank you for including the waisted Warehouse dresses though.

    1. Warehouse have done really well on the waisted front this year - not many places have! They also do a perfect just below knee midi which suits more people than a fully long one (which is my preference but i'm 5ft10 so not entirely normal..!!)

  4. Shop trendy king and queen t-shirt that fits into your and your special one's style. You can also get the wide range of quirky and funny prints and get the attention in a way you love!

  5. I'm really enjoying the theme/design of your blog. Do you ever run into any internet browser compatibility problems? A small number of my blog visitors have complained about my website not operating correctly in Explorer but looks great in Opera. Do you have any recommendations to help fix this issue?
