The footwear that has lasted the test of time.

So one thing lockdown has taught me - there are things that you've forgotten that are really good. And they're usually the basic things. Eating as a family for more than one Sunday lunch, the joy of not having to set an alarm, no school uniform to watch, NO SCHOOL SOCKS to try and locate and just watching a movie with your youngest in bed.
AND... finding things in your wardrobe that you'd forgotten.
For me - there are a fair few things but the major thing? My beloved Converse. It's not rocket science - these are simply classics.
They are, however, not for everyone. I have heard people saying that they don't offer enough support for their feet although someone else said that they've been bought by Nike is it? And the newer versions are supposed to offer more support.
I however love them. I find them ridiculously comfortable but I am very flat of foot.
I have a red pair that I bought preloved from a vintage shop in Thorpeness in Suffolk (I'm not sure how vintage they are but they were a bargain!).
I also have a green pair that I bought from another antique place in Suffolk but alas, they're FAKE!!! I didn't realise at the time obviously and whilst I have absolutely no problems at all with wearing tribute items.- an actual fake pair I do draw the line at.
And I would LOVE an emerald green pair but they're not available and it's impossible to find them.
I did though manage to find a version through the customisation part of the Converse site. Prepare to lose HOURS of your life, creating your own...
These are what I came up with... I just wanted very plain. These are perfect!
Converse Design Your Own Trainers at Converse £75
LOVE this shade of forget me not blue.
Chuck Taylor All Star seasonal canvas hi tops £55
Love the yellow too... again £55 from La Redoute.
And obviously my favourite which I've worked out go with pretty much everything (pretty much... see below for pics!).
Red Chuck Taylor All Star Core Hi tops £55 with 25% off with the code NEW at La Redoute
Orange... £60 with 25% off at La Redoute with the code NEW
Of course you could just go with the classic white, navy or black...
Chuck Taylor All Star Canvas hi tops £55 (code NEW for 25% off)
I can't quite work out with the Self Expression ones are but they do have the red edge which I like - definitely with more of a vintage vibe...

And I have now gone down a hi-top rabbit hole... There are SO many good ones out there!

Superga X Alexa Chung 2506 cotu high top trainers in cream were £109 now £65
Upping the print quota here and some leopard gems at Superga. I have leopard Golden Goose that I love - admittedly having a bit of a bit of a Carol Baskin enforced break from the leopard print but I appreciate I'm on my own for this one and there are many people who are still the hugest leopard fans. I will come around again, of that I am very very sure.
Superga 2295 hightop trainers in leopard £75 exclusive at ASOS
Upping the budget although in the sale from Moschino.
Love Moschino lace up hi top trainers at ASOS were £171 now £115
And here I am making the most of my red ones over the past week...
As you can see - they work with every outfit.
I am still on the hunt for wide leg jeans... ideally ones that sweep the floor 70s style which is tricky for me when I'm 5ft10 but I shall TRY! And hoodies - so so many requests for hoodies. Not forgetting sandals. Yup sandals we can walk in - that aren't birkies... they're up soon!
This kind of sneakers is such a must-have item!

Special thanks to HACK VANISH, a professional hacker I’ve been hiring for the past 2 years because, I find him to be an outstanding hacker who has aided me in various hacking related issues, ranging from fixing my poor FICO credit score of about 437 TransUnion, 462 Equifax to 802 plus excellent score, tracking my cheating husband’s phone and currently has helped me recover my lost crypto funds from an online scam investment I recently ventured into, I must confess he is the best, quite brilliant, ever since I discovered him through a positive review I saw on Wallet Hub and reached out to him via Email: HACKVANISH @ GMAIL. COM, and Phone: +1(747) 293-8514, to which he responded in less than 10mins, I have never regretted working with him, he’s been quite helpful and highly efficient. I Would recommend his services to anyone without hesitation.
