It's surely the perfect time to start thinking about knits for chillier days. And surely we all need a bit of cheering up (at any time to be fair) so I reckon a good idea is to keep it jolly.
I'm thinking of a jolly knit... which can clearly come in many formats but the one jumper that I'm drawn to when scrolling through all the New In emails, is a striped version. I'm thinking bright colours, ones that make you smile AND ones that will breathe new life into your Summer skirts and ideal for layering over your Summer dresses. Or just team with your fave jeans (and hopefully no coat required for the next couple of weeks...) and boots or trainers.
I have to say, I'm very much favouring a chunky knit but I'll see if I can find some finer knit versions for those who don't like to boil in the bag.
Starting with one that I came across whilst doing some research and decided it was worth devoting a whole blog post to.

Green again and anyone remember Pacers? Minty Chewitts! (do Chewitts still exist even?!). I absolutely love this one - team with navy or camel for a really different look.

I'm on a green roll now - this one has my name all over it. Simply pair with cream and/or black for instant Autumnal chic. In fact an all cream outfit with this would be simply sublime. (or all black.. DANG writing this blog - I really really need this now!).

V Neck and a fine merino knit at M&S £29.50 and a fabulously versatile navy and pink mix.
And alas, no recent pics of me donning a stripe number, but I will get one up and running as soon as the weather turns nippy. I have a couple from years ago which will absolutely be making an appearance.
