Dressing in the dregs now....

Going off piste today as well to bring you a few dresses that I couldn't NOT let you know about... as the dregs of the sales are upon us, as I mentioned yesterday and there are some fantastic bargains of up to 70% off.  It would therefore be rude not to have a quick look as all these styles of dresses are going to be super popular come the Autumn and into Winter, so it makes TOTAL sense to stock up if you can see something you love for a price you like.

I should also mention that these - like the knitwear from yesterday - are investment dresses which still do carry a pretty hefty price tag (not all of them though!) but there are some fantastic proper bargains coming later in the week, I promise.

Bargain of the day has to be this from Ganni.  Ok you can tell the sun has got to me as I'm going to mention Christmas.  If I gloss over it we can pretend I didn't but I promise me, you will thank me for this gem.

Now I know one of my shopping rules was not to buy something that you wouldn't be wearing immediately.  However this beauty - were the weather to suddenly change, I could completely throw this on with trainers and a leather jacket.  Actually I'm furious it's not in my size.  My best friend bought it though so it's probably a good idea I didn't manage to get hold of it.

In fact you could say that about all these dresses which is why I bang on about them so much.  They're SO versatile!  AND, and, and - easy to wear.  One thing to think about.  One thing to throw on.  Nothing to match it with.  And they go with pretty much any footwear.

Ganni Ruffle Trimmed Wrap dress was £210 now £63

Another one perfect to dress up and dress down.

Deep V-neck velvet midi dress from Masscob was £344 now £103

And one I can personally recommend.. now at 50% off.

Rixo Chrissy pattern midi dress was £315 now £158

AND this one - I got this last year and LOVE it.

DVF Yellow Wrap Dress was £418 now £126

Maxi again and perfect for the Autumn.

Michael Michael Kors Belted Chiffon Maxi Dress was £225 now £68

Maxi love again at DVF with 60% off.

Stand collar silk crepe de chine maxi dress from DVF was £499 now £199

It's not all going to be Ganni, I promise.

Tilden ruffled floral dress from Ganni was £200 now £100 - I think this would possibly look better with a belt.

Again another one that can be worn with or without a belt..

Vealy lace trimmed cotton dress from Isabelle Marant Etoile was £460 now £276

This one I absolutely adore... it's not cheap but it's one hell of a discount if it's in your size...

Just Cavalli Star Print Maxi Dress was £875 now £175

Now this one isn't perhaps for the depths of Winter but into Autumn with a pair of ankle boots and a denim jacket this would be perfect.  And sandals for now.

Tiered striped gauze dress from See by Chloe was £410 now £205

Similar in the sale at Flannels.. this could easily be worn with boots and a biker into the Winter.

Ilene Dress from Velvet was £295 now £89

Flynn Lace Maxi Dress from Ganni was £235 now £164

So these are *slightly* dressier but if you do have a big occasion coming up...

Needle & Thread Climbing Blossom Gown was £425 now £128

And I'm throwing this one as I LOVE it.

SEA Rosalie ruffled printed dress was £500 now £170

And then throwing in this one.  Again, it's not cheap, it's not even wearable but it's such a good bargain and it's GORGEOUS!  Dress porn... to be admired from afar!

Pierre Balmain Washed silk mini dress was £585 now £176

For those of you who thought I might take a hiatus from the frocks into the AW, I'm going to break it to you gently.  I'm not.  Ok so that perhaps wasn't as gently as it could have been but dresses are set to be huge news into the A/W.  Midi with boots, maxis with trainers, shorter dresses with ankle boots and tights.  I promise there will be something for everybody.  Is there anyone I've not managed to persuade that they're a good idea??!

And here I am today... in a dress!  Which I will deffo be wearing into the Autumn with ankle boots and a biker.  Just too useful.

Dress - Anthropologie (ss17)
Sandals - Zara (ss18)
Bag - Loewe from Matches (ss18)
Sunglasses - Walter & Herbert (ss17)

HOW hot was it today?  Had a fantastic (if slightly warm) day shooting with La Redoute.  I will be bringing you all the details of some rather fabulous outfits, very shortly.

Took the children to the cinema this evening - mainly because of it's aircon..!  Saw The Incredibles 2 which I can highly recommend.  And then tomorrow, I'm off to an event in Suffolk with my lovely friend Caroline Barnes and Max Factor - before the end of term on Friday.. number 2 leaving primary school.  The end of an era..!
