And the long, hot Summer continues...

...and it's time to look at my July picks for M&S.  This is a paid partnership that I do every month and blooming love it.

I go into store and spend hours (yes it's hours) picking and trying things on - some that I know I'll love and some that are out of my comfort zone but worth a shot.  And it usually pays off.

This month is no exception.  Whilst at this time of year we would usually be devouring all things new season, it's too hot to even contemplate jumpers, coats or trousers - it's dresses and all things still Summery that we're after.

Having said that, I am starting with a dress that could easily work for now and be PERFECT into the Autumn.  This is one of those things that is definitely out of my comfort zone... it didn't come home with me - not because I didn't love it but more because I'm not sure when I would personally wear it...

Pure Silk Long Sleeve Shirt £119

You could wear it over jeans like above - you could also wear it like a jacket/cardigan, all undone.

OR you can wear it as a classic shirt dress, like this.  I'm wearing the 10.

With these sandals.

Leather Sandals from Autograph £45

And another along these lines... again, I did really like it but it didn't come home with me as I'm not sure I'd have enough occasions to wear it.

Funnel Neck Tunic Midi Dress £55 from Autograph

Autograph Leather Toe Loop Ring Mules £45

I'm in the 10 here.  And actually I really wish I'd got this as I think it looks pretty awesome here.  With a blazer and trainers... ankle boots and a biker.  I'm going to go and order it!

DID I MENTION IT'S GOT POCKETS?!

So it was back in my comfort zone with this gem.  I tried this on at the beginning of the season and didn't love love it.  But I remembering thinking it was too oversized - I had taken a 12 when the 10 is perfect.  Alas there isn't a picture of it on me as I STUPIDLY wore black underwear and it definitely needs to be worn with a nude set.

Printed Long Sleeve Fringed Dress £39.50

Summer loving in linen.  This is perfect for a more pared back Summer look.

Pure Linen Side Button Midi Dress from Autograph £79

I'm wearing the 10 here.

Throwing in a bit of leopard for good measure.  This blouse is amazing.  Seriously a great piece to wear now and then into the Autumn.  The ideal Out Out top (the boxy shape means it's perfect for over skinnies, into September you'll thank me for this) but just as great dressed down wide leg culottes.  These I got from the sale rail.

The blouse isn't online yet.. *weeps*.  I will update the blog as SOON as I have info on when it's coming.  First email in the morning is to M&S!

BUT there are some of these left in the sale, so I'm just going to throw them in...

Wide Fit Mid Rise Cropped Jeans were £29.50 now £13

I'm also going to highlight this, as it wasn't instore but it looks perfect for this time of year.

Animal Print Half Sleeve Tea Dress from Limited Collection £39.50

But... finishing with my absolute favourite outfit.  I didn't expect to like this much.  And THIS is why I love M&S.  100% viscose so perfect for this heat.  And just that little bit different.  Even the 13yr old said she thought it was amazing.  She said she'd wear the trousers!

You could wear them separately but I think together they make just the a superb outfit which looks a lot lot LOT more expensive than it is.

Striped V Neck Long Sleeved Blouse from Per Una £27.50

AND I CAN'T FIND THE CULOTTES!!  Here is the Style Number T57/7300U I will contact M&S in the morning and ask when they're going to be in store and will update.

In the meantime, just going to leave you with this... as they didn't have it in my size and there is NO way I could even contemplate trying it on in this heat but my money is on this selling out by the time the weather changes.  The quality of this is superb.  Belies the cost.

Autograph Checked Trench Coat £99

Finishing with the pic of my favourite outfit...

How is everyone coping with the heat?  I'm not going to say Summer holidays as I know some people haven't broken up yet.

I am very much looking forward to wearing my cheesecloth dress tomorrow - perfect for this scorchio weather.  I've also done a trying on session (NOT the coat!) over on my Insta Stories, which I hope will be useful.

  2. Always like to see your M&S picks Kat. I've just ordered the leopard print blouse (thanks to Cover Girl for posting the link!). It's been a while since I've looked at the Limited Edition range; it's looking good right now.
