Bring out the big guns...

...or the big cats... it's time for a bit of leopard love.

I say a bit, I mean A LOT.  We haven't done it in a while and it continues to be my go to print for absolutely everything.  There is genuinely nothing a pair of leopard shoes or a leopard bag doesn't go with.

Dare I say even more leopard.  I know that sounds wrong diddly but I experimented with it last week and it worked.  Well, I think it works.  I'm sure there are many of you with a teensy bit of sick in your mouth at the thought but I think nothing but leopard looked ok (the proof is in the photo at the bottom).

It's also something that lasts for years.  I am testament to this - genuinely some of my favourite things that I have kept for years are of the leopard variety.

Some are expensive, some are not but there is no better time than the start of the sales (apart from the dregs of the sales which I claim to HATE but actually get stupidly sucked in by.  The shopping equivalent of tequila) to stock up on the big cat.

First up - a classic print, a classic shoe and a classic designer.  I don't think there is anyone who wouldn't get wear out of these.

Jimmy Choo Romy 60 Print Devore Satin Pumps were £525 now £315

A slightly more palatable version on the purse...

RAID Amber Leopard Print Heels were £29.99 now £13.50

Flats at Dune.  Aeron Pointed Toe Ballet Flats £70

Upping the budget at Aquazzura with the Sunshine Pompom Shoes were £620 now £341

Then, surely I've found the bargain of the day.  I would have bought these in a HEARTBEAT had they been in my size.  They're not.  I can absolutely promise you won't regret purchasing these.

PrettyLittleThing Western Boots were £35 now £21

But thinking of sandals now...

John Lewis Laural Double Strap Sandals £39

Lena Leopard Sandals from Accessorize were £27 now £21.60

A belt adds a little bit of leopard interest.  OR goes to finish off a leopard dress nicely.  Don't knock it till you've tried it.

Classic Belt from Boden £45

Sunglasses at ASOS.

Vans Janelle Hipster Print Sunglasses £15

Scarf at Guess at House of Fraser.

Leila Leopard Print Scarf was £35 now £20

Although I have to say, this is definitely my favourite of the two scarves.

Animal Print Scarf from Mango £15.99

And then the bags.

Karen Millen Leopard Print Tote Bag was £199 now £95

LOVE this one from Jerome Dreyfuss.

Leopard print calf hair shoulder bag was £1085 now £542

Leather leopard hair textured bucket bag from Kaleidoscope £49

Tula Faux Leopard Leather Bag £109

And finishing with a little leather GEM.

Katie Leather Saddle Bag £32 from Accessorize

So picked up the 13yr old from her week away in Wales.  Which was LOVELY.  For about 10mins.  Anyone with a teenager will know exactly what I mean.  In fact, someone did send me this absolutely hilarious You Tube Video - Parenting the Teenagers Maiden.  Absolutely genius.  Enjoy.

I am now on the hunt for a short dress.  Yes, you read that correctly.  It's all about the LBD.  Coming up tomorrow.

  1. I've just cleared off my credit card - whoop - and now you do leopard. Leopard is my crack cocaine.

  2. Too much leopard looks like trying too hard. One article per outfit is perfect, as with Kimono Dress.
