Jumper love

The jumpers that are just not going anywhere. Ones that have something to say. Ok so it's not entirely anything useful but once you've gone with a slogan, you never go back. Maybe it's the "fashun" at the moment, maybe it's my inner Su Pollard who's lure is strong at the minute or maybe it's just that I'm having a total mid life crisis (hmm on typing, I'm thinking that this probably ties in with the Su Pollard theory...) but mixing prints and logos and slogans and leopard and the kitchen sink makes me exceptionally happy.
A plain jumper just doesn't hold the same appeal that it used to. EVEN with a super printed skirt or over a dress that's got everything going in, I still love me some wording!
And yes, whilst obviously the original will always be the Bella Freuds - you absolutely do not have to spend a fortune to get on board with all things slogan. Dare I say I prefer some of these to the designer end of the shooting match?
End of the Debenhams sale is always good for some bargains (sizes permitting).
This may be from Autumn/Winter but I think it's as summery as you can get, for a complete steal. Grab it quickly.
Debenhams H 1by Henry Holland Mint jumper was £35 now £10.50
Ditto this one - £10.50 for a jumper. And they couldn't be more Spring like if they tried.

Jules Sequin Embroidered Jumper from hush £85
Grey in the sale and I have to say I'm really surprised this one hasn't sold out. I'm guessing that people who love hush love colour, which yes, I totally get but personally I can't get enough of the neutrals.

Daisy Street V Neck jumper was £24.90 now £17

mByM Grey cotton blend New York Sweatshirt was £69.95 now £20.98
Or if New York isn't your thing.. how about Paris?
Midnight in Paris Sweatshirt from Warehouse £39.50
So what do we think? I think they're all blooming fabulous and that striped ASOS one has just been ordered as I've had to do a next day delivery of a leotard and shorts (as you do...) NOT for me but for the 14yr old who has left it the last minute to order it (guess who's driving down after school tomorrow so she has it for her dress rehearsal tomorrow night... I AM SUCH A MUG. But if you don't do it - THE GUILT. The husband says I should just leave it. But she's so good in so many different ways - it's just she leaves everything till the last minute and then she's flying around like a blue arsed fly. Can't think where she gets it from....)
BUT moving on and here I am, in my outfit from today, looking very pleased with myself.
Jumper - Debenhams Studio by Preen (gift current)
Biker - hush (gift 5yrs ago)
Skirt - La Double J from Matches (sale 2yrs ago)
Earrings - Alice's Wonders (gift - Cathy who owns Alice's Wonders is a really old and really lovely friend who has AMAZING earrings at super prices - these are from last year but are still available - £7)
And pleased with myself I was as I have NAILED my fancy dress outfit for a party in a couple of weeks. All pics over on my Insta Stories on Instagram (it's not that exciting...!! However I didn't leave it the last minute. Miracles do happen....!) Thank the lord for the dregs of the Zara sale - that's all I'll say. 70's Disco done!
