Giving something back
I feel incredibly privileged to have been asked to take part in promoting hush's campaign 2016 for Fashion Targets Breast Cancer.
hush have joined this amazing cause to help celebrate its 20th anniversary and hopefully raise lots of money to help fund research into curing this terrible disease.
Their ambition is to stop women dying from breast cancer by 2050, and I am honoured to have been asked by hush to help promote awareness in the Wear Your Support campaign.
hush have selected three pieces from this season's collection and will donate 30% of all sales of these items during the campaign to this incredible cause.
Secondly, there is the ridiculously easy to wear Feather Print Tee in black and white £30 The staple tee of your Spring wardrobe. Goes perfectly with shorts, jeans, joggers and peg leg trousers. Not to mention, tucked into a midi skirt with a biker jacket over the top. Go smart with a more formal pair of trousers and a blazer. Off duty weekend chic with harems and a khaki military jacket and sneakers.
And finally - my favourite - the S/S Olive jumpsuit £75
For me, this creates the perfect Spring outfit. On cooler days, team with the biker jacket and ankle boots (this was my planned outfit for today... but.... oh hello sunshine!) and on warmer days (it was officially Warm in London today), with a blazer and sandals (or mules in my case). Dress up in the evening with heels. The ideal "throw in the suitcase and it will save your holiday bacon" piece of clothing.
Here I am in mine today. Size wise - this is the perfect size 10. Well, if you're at the larger end of the scale that is.... I wore it for an entire day in London. Ridiculously comfortable and randomly, doesn't crease.
Olive jumpsuit - hush
Black jacket - hush
Ponyskin mules - Anthropologie
Black fringed Mario bag - Jerome Dreyfuss
If you were thinking about buying any of the above, then there really is no better justification to indulge and give something back. And you can show how you wear your support by sharing photos of your Fashion Targets Breast Cancer pieces with the hashtag:-

The jumpsuit is a dream! I'm a short arse though at 5ft and a breath, do they stock it in petit Kat?
ReplyDeleteNo they don't but I would advise sizing down. I have a ridiculously short body and legs that are foolishly out of proportion so it does fit me but I do know definitely shorter people who have it!
DeleteI have it and I'm 5ft 2"... It fits lovely
DeleteTA DAH! I thought you had it but didn't want to *out* you as being short!!
DeleteGo for it!! (Breast cancer research), prognosis os getting better all the time, so 2050 is not unrealistic.
ReplyDeleteAs for the clothes, I'm with T on the jumpsuit, do they do it in petite?
(As for the Danish brands, I love mixing British and Scandinavian for my own unique style)
Danish Pastry
Wouldn't it be fabulous? I feel honoured to be able to help in any way I can. They don't do petite but read above! I love mixing brands, styles and budgets. Makes for a much more interesting look for sure. x
DeleteWhat an amazing cause and 3 fabulous pieces. Well done Hush and you look bloody amazing x
ReplyDeleteThank you my darling. I really hope they do raise a shed load of money x
DeleteSome great pieces to choose from Hush - the sequin dress could not be more 'me' if it were emblazoned with my name.
ReplyDeleteDeviating slightly and coming back to your dungaree blog, have you checked out the offerings on soeur.fr? A website to fall in love with (I have no affiliation, except I really like their stuff)
I have not, but that's one I will definitely be checking out, thank you xxxx
DeleteTotal total total no brainer aren't they? I'm wearing one of mine tonight for a Charity Theatre performance. They are just THE most versatile things. Did you get the black one? (or you had the wine one didn't you?) This is gorgeous. I'm tempted to get the black as well..!!
